okay first things first, im sure EVERYONE who went to sea age this time will agree with me that it was absolutelysuperwonderfulfantabulistic!!!!!

really made lotsa new friends and got to know more people better (:
this sea age is definitely the best i've been on so far, it's gonna leave me with wonderful memories (and battle wounds from iceskating xP)
i shan't give a blow by blow update, cuz it'll be quite draggy, just the significant events.
FIRST - THE CHEONGSAM WOMAN.
this was seriously scary AND hilarious.
scene 1 (last night; after the gala dinner) :
a group of people including me come out of lift into lift lobby.
a group of the younger girls come rushing towards us saying,
"eh look at the lady in the cheongsam, she looks like a ghost!!!!"
scene 2:
all of us creep carefully to the end of the lift lobby and turn left into the long corridor, which have our rooms on both sides of it.
and lo and behold!
all the way at the other end of the corridor (i.e. deadend, except for the emergency staircase) was a woman in a RED CHEONGSAM. she was super fair, and standing SUPER still with her arms folded.
and she was directly facing us.
scene 3:
we, being super curious idiots, started to creep closer and closer to her.
(to see whether she really was a
scene 4 (now this gets funny):
she suddenly bends over about 90degrees, opens her mouth really big, and SCREAMS at us.
scene 5:
OH MAN. WE SERIOUSLY FREAKED OUT!!!
EVERYONE STARTED SCREAMING AND RUNNING AWAY.
and not to mention in the process someone pushed me and i fell onto the carpet.
and let me tell you at that point in time i SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY did not think she was a woman.
i mean, logically why would a woman suddenly scream at you?
so i scrambled up and ran into the lift lobby.
scene 6:
after everybody was reassured that she wasnt following us, we slowly went back into the corridor to see what was happening.
and there was nick tan (who later kept insisting it wasnt scary at all) walking up to her.
so a couple of us followed him and we realised that the 'ghost' was actually a pretty nice china lady who was innocently standing there waiting for somebody.
and she knew that we thought she was a ghost cuz of the younger group of girls who spotted her first and kept staring.
i mean it must have been pretty funny from her point of view, when this group of youngsters start creeping towards you from the other end of the corridor.
anw, she said she wanted to scare us (before she herself got scared by our antics) so she screamed.
boy, did it work.
scene 6.5:
the china lady's friend came and they went back into their room.
the one she was standing outside of.
scene 7:
anw by this time everybody from the team staying on the 4th lvl, obviously having heard all the screaming, alr came out of their rooms.
so there was like repeated story-telling sessions.
and most of the guys alr came down from the 5th lvl.
so it was like a mass story telling sessions, with alot of literal heart-pounding and emphasis on how scary it was.
and rainer (who being extra, came down by the emergency staircase when the rest of us had come down by the lift) was telling his version.
it must have been super scary for him la, cuz when he opened the emergecncy staircase door the woman was standing directly infront of it and staring at him.
so he pretended that he couldnt see her and started walking quickly towards the other end of the corridor (i.e. lift lobby end)
he said he didnt run cuz he was afraid she would come after him, and he didnt look back either.
hahaha.
scene 8:
the china lady came out of her room again!
still wearing her red cheongsam btw.
most of the people freaked out again.
esp those who just came down and missed the mass screaming session.
alot of people jumped and ran, and there was more screaming.
haha and joel lim took cover in lyn and my room (which everyone was gathered outside of) cuz the door was conveniently open.
more screaming.
scene 9:
the woman had to walk past us to get to the lifts
and to humour us she acted like a zombie (i.e. eyes rolling upwards tongue sticking out hand in front) while walking.
and even though we knew she was a woman, it was still quite scary.
yea.
so this was basically what happened.
but u have to be there to actually experience it.
it was SERIOUSLY heart-stopping.
it should have been captured on film. xP
ok
EVENT NUMBER TWO - SURPRISE BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR RAINER
whose birthday was on the last day of comp, 4th June.
so we went down to the hotel swimming pool and formed a circle with rainer in the middle.
started singing the birthday song.
halfway through the song joel tan jy leaped out of nowhere and smashed a cake into rainer's face
(made of lots of whipped cream and cheese)
poor joel suffered the most i think cuz rainer, on instinct, leaped on him and scratched him
so joel fell onto the ground and hurt his back.
(it was still aching the next day. hehh.)
then there was a mini whipped cream fight cuz we didnt have that much whipped cream left.
hehh.
plus of course there was the real cake which was really big (and really nice) which everyone ate.
rainer got the biggest piece. :p
EVENT NUMBER THREE: ICESKATING (WHOOHOO!)
on the last day in the morning.
we went to this super big shopping centre to shop before gng to the airport.
but then most of the shops were closed, so we (chriselle, amanda christel wanting and me)gradually wandered up to the 4th level.
then we saw the skating rink.
and a couple of the team singapore peeps inside alr
(russ, the joels, blah blah)
haha so we ran in and joined them
then gradually more and more people joined in as they saw us when they walked past.
it was really like team bonding.
cuz the better ones at iceskating were helping those who hadnt done it before.
(:
and the funny part was, people were randomly holding hands (cuz they were helping the person to skate) when it was so hard to get them to hold hands for our dance item.
hehh. :D
of course there were the unhelpful people like russell who went around pushing people from behind and doing lame things like the this-knee (disney) on ice thing. xD
and going on about how he had a natural flair for the ice. lol.
that was the really fun stuff that happened during sea age.
the gala dinner was alright, thought our dance item went quite well, except for the last part, the mass dancing.
cuz the music kept stopping halfway and it was rather messy.
thanks to my dance partner joel (lim) for dancing well and of course to christel and khoonnie for cheoreographing not one, not two, but three separate dances. (:
ahh.
this sea age will hold wonderful memories for me. :D
now im looking forward to asian schools!
